Sadaf Farasat

Sadaf Farasat’s work revolves around Sufism; her paintings are visual renditions of Rumi’s poetry, spreading his mysticism through various media and platforms for over a decade.

Exploring the purpose of existence, searching for Divine love, and doing all that pleases the Beloved, Sadaf’s work reflects her own spiritual journey, which began at a very young age.

Having exhibited in Dubai, Kuala Lumpur, London, the USA, Singapore, and all major cities in Pakistan, Sadaf has participated in more than 45 group and solo shows.

Based in Malaysia, Sufi and mystic artist Sadaf imbibes the Sufi mystical traditions of different cultures and masterfully renders them on her large canvases. A recurring theme in her work is the ecstasy of love: the smooth yet vehemently assertive motion of the whirling dervishes, reflecting the cycle of pain and pleasure.

Each of her paintings is a unique, one-off piece.
