Masooma Rizvi

Masooma Rizvi is an Islamic artist based in London, renowned for her modern fusion style of Arabic calligraphy. Over her 12-year art career, she has sold more than 500 paintings worldwide, with clients in over 10 countries. Recently, she was featured by the BBC in their exclusive art TV program, “Make it at Market,” where her Arabic Islamic calligraphy was introduced to British audiences, garnering an overwhelming response. Masooma's aim is to familiarize the British public with this traditional art form and create a market for it in British households, promoting an invaluable message of love and peace that transcends cultural barriers.

Last year, she was nominated for the Muslim Women Awards UK in the Art and Entertainment category, where she was one of three finalists. Masooma actively organizes art events and fundraisers for major charity organizations, including the Citizens Foundation (TCF). Additionally, she has successfully developed a platform for expatriate Pakistani artists in the UAE and plans to establish a similar initiative in the UK to promote their art forms in international markets, believing that once seen, they will be appreciated.
