Collection: Akram Spaul

Born in Sialkot in June 1947, Akram Spaul completed his primary education in his hometown before earning a four-year diploma from the Central Institute of Art and Crafts in Karachi. Following his studies, he joined an advertising company, where his passion for painting took root, leading him to paint regularly starting in 1987. Initially, Spaul focused on capturing the old windows of various citizens, eventually broadening his scope to explore a diverse range of subjects.

Spaul’s artistry has earned him numerous accolades, including the prestigious Outstanding Sadeqin Award, where he secured first rank. His deep absorption in the painting process reflects his unwavering focus; any interruption stirs strong feelings of discontent. Each of his works, typically requiring 15 to 20 days to complete, showcases his meticulous attention to detail and commitment to his craft.
